Mae’r postiau sy’n ymddangos yn adran Manion o’r Mynydd yn amrywiol eu natur. Fel y mae’r teitl yn awgrymu, mae’r adran yn cynnig lle i archwilio pynciau sy’n ymwneud ag ucheldiroedd Cymru nad ydynt o reidrwydd yn gysylltiedig ag enwau lleoedd.
Posts that appear in the Manion o’r Mynydd section are miscellaneous in nature. The title can be translated loosely as ‘trivia from the mountain’, and the section therefore offers space to explore topics relating to the Welsh uplands that do not necessarily concern place‑names.
Mynydd Hiraethog
Mae post heddiw yn dathlu Mynydd Hiraethog, drwy gyflwyno penillion gan Abel Ffowcs Williams a gyhoeddwyd yn Y Llenor yn 1939.
Today’s post celebrates the Mynydd Hiraethog upland group, presenting a Welsh poem composed by Abel Ffowcs Williams and published in Y Llenor in 1939.
